2020 Graduate
I am currently a fourth-year medical student at Brody School of Medicine. I am pursuing a career in Family Medicine, with the hopes of providing full scope care in a rural region. I am very passionate about continuity of care and believe we will begin to see better health outcomes when individuals are able to prioritize their appointments with their primary care physicians. In order to make this possible, we must provide access to affordable, quality health care to all individual’s in our community. The ERHD program has broadened my understanding of health disparities and severity of health outcomes amongst many different minority communities. I am excited to expound upon this knowledge during residency and continue to be advocates for my patients, especially those who have been historically marginalized.
Other passions of mine are working out, traveling and spending time outdoors with my dog. I have been involved with many service projects throughout medical school and enjoy staying involved in the community. I have volunteered at the Ronald McDonald house over the last two years and I am currently working on creating a medical play resource for their residents.
